METERING/DOSING PUMPS
Metering/Dosing Pumps
For Precision Metering
We’ve partnered with global metering pump leader ProMinent Fluid Controls to help provide you the most accurate precision metering technology available.
How do ProMinent metering/dosing pumps work?
Essentially, metering pumps operate on the principle of oscillating displacement pumps. That means that an exactly defined volume of liquid is drawn into the displacement body on the reciprocal stroke and forced into the metering line on the compression stroke. Naturally the pump settings can be changed to achieve consistently accurate metering.
Microprocessor technology since 1988
The accurate control of the pumps is made possible by microprocessor technology. Sophisticated monitoring functions ensure reliability in operation and minimum chemical consumption and optimum disinfection. Interfaces integrate the pumps into a fully automated process.
Over one million of our pumps are in use all over the globe, delivering reliable, accurate performance under the toughest conditions. Our proven design principles guarantee a high standard of quality and precision.

The Product Range of Metering/Dosing Pumps
Large choice of types, wide range of capacities: from a few ml, e. g. for laboratory use, to 40,000 l/h, e. g. for use in process engineering.
The technologies in detail:
- NSF 61/50 approved (NSF/61 – acrylic or PVDF liquid ends, NSF 50 applies only to NPB0 & NPB2 liquid end versions)
- Low cost opens up opportunities in the most basic applications
- PVDF wetted ends eliminate compatibility concerns
- Integral bleed valve prevents “loss of prime”
- Lowest maintenance costs in its class
Classification by pump drive:
- NSF 61/50 approved (NSF/61 – acrylic or PVDF liquid ends, NSF 50 applies only to NPB0 & NPB2 liquid end versions)
